Conservatory Training

The Juilliard School has had a guitar program since 1989, but until now they have only offered a Masters Degree, Graduate Diploma, and Artist Diploma:

"The Juilliard School will initiate its first undergraduate Bachelor of Music Degree Program for Guitar in fall 2007 under the direction of world-renowned guitarist Sharon Isbin."

Classes in guitar literature and fretboard harmony will be taught by Mark Delpriora, also an instructor across town at the Manhattan School of Music.
